Professional Mover
Job description
As a professional mover, you will be packing and moving customers' household or office belongings. Moves range from just a single item to an entire home or office. Items to be moved can often weigh several hundred pounds. Moves involving stairways are very common. The workday can be long (a ten-hour day or longer is not unusual). These demands require a person with above average strength, stamina, fitness and skill.

Tasks include:

• Carrying heavy items long distances and up/down stairways.
• Manually hoisting heavy items.
• Wrapping furniture and equipment.
• Box-pack items such as breakables, books, artwork, knick-knacks.
• Working with moving equipment and tools.
• Ability to drive a straight or semi truck.
• Disassembling and reassembling furniture and equipment.
• Providing quality, customer service at all times.

Qualifications:
Must have fitness skills, above average stamina for physical labor and can lift 75lbs on a regular basis. Strong communication and teamwork skills needed. New employees will be given an orientation to the moving industry along with both classroom and hands-on training. Must pass background checks. High school diploma/G.E.D. required.

Local Drivers (CDL, A, B or Regular)
Job description
As a driver for Colorado Hi-Tec, you must have experience in driving a straight or semi-truck to transport and deliver household and commercial goods in loose or packaged form. Deliveries will be made in the local Denver area with seldom, overnight work.

Tasks include:

• Responsibility for transporting household goods/commercial equipment and furniture from origin to destination.
• Actively participate in moving materials, equipment, furniture, household goods and managing packing and crating of valuables as well as hard-to-move items.
• Acting as a liaison with customer service and sales representatives, dispatch and warehouse staff to insure customer satisfaction.
• Inspecting truck for defects before and after trips, submitting truck condition reports
• Maintaining driver logs and daily vehicle inspection reports according to FMCSA regulations.
• Adhering to all safety, OSHA and DOT regulations in accordance with Colorado Hi-Tec's safety program.
• Complying with drug-free workplace initiatives.
• Maintaining a tool kit for installation, assembly and breakdown of furniture or other items for transport.

Qualifications:

• Active CDL Class A, Class B or Regular is required.
• 1+ years of driving experience for a commercial business.
• Prior household goods moving experience recommended.
• Must pass a background check, drug test and DOT physical.
• Capable of lifting 75lbs on a regular basis with above average stamina and fitness skills.

Professional Packers — Summer Movers
Job description
As a professional packer for Colorado Hi-Tec, you will assist with each move, ensure quality service and always strive for customer satisfaction. Work will involve packing services for residential as well as commercial relocation services.

Tasks include:

• Packing of valuables such as artwork, antiques, dishes and other fragile items for safe transport.
• Lifting, moving and placing heavy items by hand or with assistance of material handling equipment such as a hand-truck or dolly.
• Receiving instructions from crew leaders and adhering to all company policies and safety rules.
• Working with other team members to ensure we exceed customer expectations in a professional and friendly manner.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma/G.E.D required.
• Capable of lifting 75lbs on a regular basis with above average stamina and fitness skills.
• Flexible scheduling.
• Must pass a background check.
• Friendly, safety-minded, positive attitude, good communication and customer service skills.
